While other automakers have given up on the sedan body style, Hyundai keeps breathing new life into the popular midsized Sonata. For 2026, the automaker has streamlined the Sonata’s lineup to three core offerings, including the new mid-grade SEL Sport. It represents a sweet spot that keeps the occupants extra comfortable with heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and other amenities. Of course, all three trims check the boxes for modern design, a spacious interior for five, and an array of standard safety technologies.

Hyundai includes five years or 60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage and ten years or 100,000 miles of powertrain protection for every 2026 Sonata. Buyers also receive three years of complimentary standard scheduled maintenance, five years of unlimited-mileage roadside assistance, and complimentary access to Bluelink+ connected services (for emergency help, vehicle monitoring, and other features).
